Cosmetic Dentistry Case 1

This patient’s concern was her “gummy smile” and discolored fillings. We performed a surgical gum lift to reduce the “gummy smile” and give her better tooth and gum proportions. Then cosmetic veneers were placed on her upper teeth to replace the old discolored fillings. The results are a full bright smile with perfect proportions.

This patient’s main concern was the alignment of his front teeth. He wanted faster results than clear aligners or braces could provide. Cosmetic veneers were used on his four front teeth to realign his teeth and give him a perfect smile. Treatment time frame was only two weeks vs months or a year in braces.

Our teeth are a major indicator of age. Her teeth had become discolored and spaces had occurred between her teeth contributing to her physiologic age. Cosmetic Veneers were placed on upper and lower teeth for a more youthful, perfect smile, that reflects how young she feels.

Recession and age had taken its toll on this gentleman’s smile, resulting in “black triangles between his teeth, worn/chipped edges, and yellowing teeth. Cosmetic veneers were placed to change the shape, reduce “black triangles”, and take years off his appearance.

Over time with tooth loss and wear, bites collapse. A collapsed bite results in an “old” smile showing small teeth and allowing facial wrinkles to develop in the skin of the lower face. By reconstructing bites, replacing missing teeth and restoring teeth back to their original size, a smile becomes more vibrant and youthful and you can see improvement throughout the entire lower face and lip lines.

Dental Implants Case 1

One of the most common teeth to break, and need replacement with a dental implant, due to its narrow diameter and heavy chewing forces. The remaining root is carefully removed and a dental implant is placed at the same appointment. A temporary crown is placed within a few days to help maintain the gum shape and natural look. Resulting in a dental implant tooth that looks perfect in the smile with the other natural teeth.

Dental Implants Case 2

The most difficult tooth to replace from an aesthetic stand point. The two front teeth must have symmetry for a smile to look its best. The remaining root is carefully removed and a dental implant is placed at the same appointment. A temporary crown is placed within a few days to maintain gum shape and retain the natural symmetry between the natural front tooth and the dental implant. A high quality dental lab produces a crown that matches the surrounding teeth perfectly.

Dental Implants Case 3

As we age and our bite collapses, our smile begins to show less top teeth and more bottom teeth. Seeing the gum tissue of lower teeth is very age defining. This smile was recreated using a combination of full arch dental implants on her upper teeth and full arch dental crowns on her lower teeth. Her bite was carefully rebuilt so that her smile fully revealed her top teeth for a very youthful look.

Another all time favorite case. This patient had loose, failing teeth from years of periodontal disease and a huge underbite (her lower teeth stuck out farther than her top teeth, like a bulldog). In one procedure, all her top and bottom teeth were removed and several dental implants were placed. A new set of upper and lower teeth were made on the same day. The patient went home with beautiful, new, natural looking, permanent teeth. We were even able to correct her bite.

Dental Implants Case 5

Even dentures can look good. This patient, after years of tooth loss, needed his upper and lower teeth replaced. Implants were placed when the teeth were removed. This time instead of permanent teeth, removable “snap in” dentures were used. Snap in dentures offer increased function and stability over regular dentures, are more economical compared to permanent teeth, and still look great.

Years of neglect and tooth loss necessitated the removal and replacement of all upper and lower teeth. The teeth were removed, several implants placed, and permanent teeth placed in a single procedure. The results are a beautiful, functional set of teeth, that get as close to natural teeth as possible, with an expedited treatment time frame, and limited disruption to lifestyle.
